Contracting authority – Rheinbahn – intends to award the contract for the design of non-statutory required misting fire extinguishing systems for tram depots at 2 locations, one in Lierenfeld with approximately 19,200 m² and one in Heerdt with approximately 13,700 m², through the open procedure. The remuneration will be in accordance with the HOAI. In contrast to the previous announcement, references for the design and supervision of low-pressure misting fire extinguishing systems, references for high-pressure misting fire extinguishing systems will also be accepted. At least two reference contracts for the design and supervision of a low-pressure or high-pressure misting fire extinguishing system must be demonstrated. Within these reference contracts, the partial services listed under item 7 must have been provided. The performance phases 2 to 5 according to HOAI must be demonstrated within the references. The performance phases 6 to 8 according to HOAI can be demonstrated either within the required reference contracts for low-pressure or high-pressure misting fire extinguishing systems or also within the framework of reference contracts for automatic water fire extinguishing systems. The performance phases 1 and 9 no longer represent a reference requirement. For the proof and the necessary information on the changed reference requirements, Annex 3 "Company-specific applicant information", Form 6 "References" must be completed. In order to take into account the adjustments to the reference requirements, we have also extended the submission deadline until 13.10.2026, 11:00.
