SBH | Schulbau Hamburg are responsible for planning, constructing, maintaining and managing school properties, taking into account educational needs and economic principles, and for leasing approximately 350 schools to the Behörde für Schule und Berufsbildung. The school properties include all land and buildings used for educational purposes by state and vocational schools. The total land area of all general and vocational state schools is approximately 9.1 million m², and the total usable area is approximately 3.1 million m². In this capacity, SBH has been commissioned to build a new district school and expand a gymnasium at the Turnierstieg 18/24 location in Hamburg. For further details, see section 5.1 of the notice.
