Energy Upgrade of County Hall and Sligo Fire Station

Sligo County Council intends to undertake an energy upgrade of County Hall and Sligo Fire Station. The project aims to improve the energy efficiency of both buildings, reduce energy consumption, and lower carbon emissions. The scope of work includes:

- Energy audit and assessment

- Building envelope improvements (insulation, windows, doors)

- Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system upgrades

- Installation of renewable energy systems (solar panels, heat pumps)

- Implementation of energy management systems

- Lighting upgrades and controls

- Electrical system upgrades

- Plumbing and drainage system upgrades

The contract will be awarded to the tenderer who demonstrates the best value for money, taking into account the quality of the proposed solution, the price, and the tenderer's experience and capabilities.

Tenderers must submit their proposals by 12:00 noon on 15th March 2024. Late submissions will not be accepted.

The contract will be funded by the EU's Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).

The contract will be subject to the Public Works Contracts (PWC) General Conditions, as published by the Office of Government Procurement (OGP).

The contract will be governed by Irish law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
