The European Commission, Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, intends to award a contract for the preventive and adaptive maintenance of the Digital Textbooks Platform. The platform is a key tool for the dissemination of digital educational resources and supports the Commission's digital education strategy. The maintenance services will include regular updates, bug fixes, security patches, and performance optimizations to ensure the platform's reliability, security, and efficiency.

**Scope of Work:**

1. Regular updates and bug fixes

2. Security patches and vulnerability assessments

3. Performance optimizations and scalability improvements

4. User support and training

5. Adaptive maintenance based on user feedback and evolving needs

**Eligibility and Selection Criteria:**

1. Proven experience in maintaining digital platforms

2. Expertise in educational technology and digital resources

3. Knowledge of relevant EU regulations and standards

4. Ability to provide 24/7 support and maintenance

5. Competitive pricing and value for money

**Contract Duration:**

The contract will have a duration of 24 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and mutual agreement.

**Budget:**

The estimated budget for this contract is EUR 500,000.
