The project aims to create coherent, attractive and robust urban spaces with high quality of stay and movement, which support the historical and architectural character of the city centre. After the access to the parking basement has been closed and there is essentially only goods traffic in the area, it provides better conditions for a more active urban life in the area. This project is the final part of the transformation and it includes improvements on Albani Torv, redevelopment of Skt. Knuds Plads, adjustments on Flakhaven and Klingenberg as well as the establishment of Den Historiske Trappe. The project aims to create a connection between time, space and nature. It will strengthen the connections between the Cathedral, the town hall, Odense Å and Nonnebakken and at the same time enhance the qualities that make Odense something special. It is an investment in both the city's identity and the daily lives of its citizens. Overall, the project should: highlight the historical connection between Albani Torv and Skt. Knuds Plads and thus also the connection to Eventyrhaven. This in the form of a pedestrian-friendly and green redevelopment of Skt. Knuds Plads, from where a history-mediated staircase connection leads to Eventyrhaven. Eventyrhaven is thus drawn further up into the city and strengthens the area's green character together with the Cathedral's location in the landscape. strengthen the connection from Eventyrhaven and Odense Å to Albani Torv with special focus on a redevelopment of the corner and the access to the square. Here, an extended mediation of the history of and marking of the original Skt.
