Räddningstjänsten are intended to procure a vehicle-based IT support for the organisation's response vehicles (approx. 80 units). Vehicle-based IT support means hardware and software that can handle alarm reception, navigation, status signalling, mission support and command support in the vehicle. The aim of the procurement is to obtain a single system from one supplier. A uniformity is sought in the form of a common platform of hardware and software. Service and support as well as updates should be able to be handled without operational disruptions. Depending on the function and type of vehicle, different vehicles will be equipped with different hardware and software. The types of vehicles that exist are resource vehicles, rescue vehicles, command vehicles and FIB vehicles and, depending on the type of vehicle, the specification requirements are adapted accordingly.
