Tampere City Procurement Services is tendering the service of the Real Estate, Spaces and Housing Policy service group for the main and architectural design of the Sara Hildén Art Museum, according to the tender and its annexes. The Sara Hildén Art Museum is a municipal art museum in Tampere, where the extensive collection of international and Finnish modern and contemporary art owned by the Sara Hildén Foundation is permanently housed. The art museum organizes several exhibitions each year. The planned future renovation and expansion of the art museum in Särkänniemi will enable up-to-date, exhibition-technically functional and sufficiently sized spaces for collection and exhibition activities, art logistics and public services. The assignment includes the tasks of main and architectural design from the needs assessment phase to the end of the warranty period. All phases of the general tasks and phase-specific tasks are described in more detail in the tender document description, contract draft and task lists in the annexes PS18/ RT103254 and ARK18/ RT103253. The site plan reference design is part of the task. The design task is exceptionally demanding.
