Nemčija – Storitve na področju rekreacije, kulture in športa – Kuratorin / Kurator für den deutschen Beitrag zur 20. Architekturbiennale Venedig 2027

Za nemški prispevek na Arhitekturno bienale v Benetkah 2027 iščemo odgovornega kuratorja. Arhitekturna bienale v Benetkah je najpomembnejša mednarodna razstava arhitekture. Ponuja pregled aktualnih trendov v arhitekturi in priložnost za predstavitev nacionalnih dosežkov. Nemški prispevek za bienale koordinira in financira BMWSB in BBSR. Začetek prihodnje bienale je na soboto, 8. maja 2027. Za preview dneve so predvidoma 6. in 7. maj 2027. Bienale se bo zaprlo v nedeljo, 21. novembra 2027. Direkcija celotne bienale (Directors of the Architecture Department) je bila prenesena na arhitekta Wang Shu in arhitektko Lu Wenyu. V zvezi z njuno imenovanjem sta oba direktorja izdala naslednjo izjavo, ki velja tudi kot vodilo cele bienale: „In the current world, the rapid and multiple changes in architecture are more a phenomenon of appearance, the result of excessive conceptualization or marked commercialization. Conceptual experiments driven to extremes are often divorced from reality and over-commercialization tends to be merely popular and short-lived. This phenomenon changes rapidly in order to survive, breaking away from the connection with the real place. It will lead to the death of architecture. Therefore, architecture becomes a kind of delusional expression about the future. For this reason, in the face of the real crisis of this world, insisting on a simple and true concept and method of architecture has a special value. We will strive to present this value and exploration with the greatest sincerity for a better reality and future.“ Te razmišljanja naj bodo vodilni miselni navdih za razstavo v nemškem paviljonu.
