Iarnród Éireann chce zahájit výběrové řízení na jmenování až čtyř dodavatelů pro preventivní údržbu existujících systémů (Lot 1) Mechanických, (Lot 2) Ohně, (Lot 3) Bezpečnost a (Lot 4) Brány + Bariery umístěných po celé síti IÉ, včetně bezpečnostně kritických stavebních typů, jako jsou stanice, současný CTC, nový NTCC a SET a CME sklady. Smlouvy budou zahrnovat poskytování plánované preventivní údržby (testování), neplánované náhrady aktiv (opravy) a technických zdrojů (povolení prací).
