IReL (Irish Research eLibrary) er et nationalt finansieret e-resource licens konsortium, der giver adgang til førende videnskab, teknologi og medicin (STM) og humaniora og samfundsvidenskab (HSS) ressourcer på vegne af deltagende offentligt finansierede irske højere uddannelsesinstitutioner (IReL Medlemmer). IReL medlemmer biblioteker har brug for en Dokumentleveringsservice (DDS) til at supplere deres eksisterende e-resource samlinger ved at give brugere adgang til og læse indhold, der ikke er tilmeldt.
