Norwegen – Systemberatung und technische Beratung – Procurement of consultancy services for nuclear security, including handling used fuel, radiation protection and risk assessment.

The Norwegian Radiation Protection Agency and nuclear safety shall procure consultancy services, including consultancy, development of written guidance material and competence raising activities for DSA for nuclear safety and radiation protection. It shall also include reviewing and assessing documents received from the operator(s). Examples of work under the agreement may be (the list is not exhaustive): Review and assessment of licence/permission applications or accompanying documentation and/or consultancy and/or competence building activities in support of such processes, including: • new disposal facilities or other installations for handling core waste • use of transport containers/transport containers for used nuclear fuel • configuration management at the nuclear installations• analysis of security and/or Management and/or stand-by arrangements for nuclear installations• risk and/or security assessments to determine their sufficiency, completeness and compliance with national and international regulations and guidelines, and international best practice • execution of independent assessments, including risk and security assessments.
