Trondheim Renholdsverk AS (hereafter called the contracting authority) carries out sanitation services connected to household waste and municipal business waste in Trondheim and is 100% owned by Trondheim municipality. The company shall provide competitive services that safeguard waste resources. The company shall be among the national leaders in its main business area, especially as regards the environment, quality, technology, degree of innovation, working environment and efficiency. Read more about us at www.trv.no.The contracting authority has the collection of waste from households and municipal institutions in Trondheim municipality. Altogether approx. 200,000 inhabitants are served divided in approx. 95,000 households. The share of volume served in small containers is 40.6%, and the forecasts suggest that there will continue to be approx. 40%. New construction projects often receive joint systems such as waste suction and containers, so the proportion of small containers of the total collected volume will be reduced over time. This is an estimate and it may change during the contract period Read more about us at www.trv.no.The contracting authority needs a framework agreement for the purchase of waste collection material, including plastic containers with wheels, containers for hazardous waste and risk waste, as well as compost bins. Based on previous statistics, all contracts ́ value is estimated to be approx. NOK 18 million over 4 years. The competition is divided into the following sub competitions and the estimated value and maximum per lot; Plastic containers with wheels - NOK 15 million over 4 years. – maximum NOK 20 million. Containers for hazardous waste and risk waste - NOK 2.7 million over 4 years, maximum NOK 5 million. Compostings with an option for sand - NOK 0.3 million over 4 years- maximum NOK 1 million. Tenderers can submit tenders for only 1, 2 or all 3 sub competitions. Each sub competition will be evaluated and awarded separately. The framework agreement will be valid for 2 years, with a unilateral option for the contracting authority to extend the framework agreement for 1+1 year. All estimates are given according to the contracting authority ́s best judgement for the contract period.
