Frequently asked questions

Answers about TED, coverage, pricing and data privacy.

What is Tendova?
Tendova is a search platform for public tenders across the EU. It is built for small and medium-sized businesses that bid on public contracts, and helps them find relevant tenders through semantic search, saved searches and alerts.
What is TED?
TED (Tenders Electronic Daily) is the official EU publication portal for public procurement, a supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union. Every contract above the EU thresholds must be published there. Tendova syncs with TED every 30 minutes, so new and updated tenders become visible promptly.
Which countries and tenders are covered?
Tendova covers all 27 EU member states and includes TED notices above the EU thresholds. National below-threshold portals are not included.
Where does the tender data come from?
We source data from Tenders Electronic Daily (TED), the official EU platform for public procurement.
How current is the data?
Tendova syncs with TED every 30 minutes, so new notices and changes to existing tenders appear within a short window.
Which languages can I search and read in?
You can search and read tenders in all 24 official EU languages. TED provides the official title in each country's own language, and where a description has no translation, we show it in the original language.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan is free forever and includes full tender search, 3 saved searches, daily alerts, and 5 AI summaries a month.
Do I need an account to search?
No. Tender search and the individual tender detail pages are public. A free account is only needed for saved searches, alerts and the AI features.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You cancel directly through the customer portal, no minimum term and no questions asked.
Do you offer invoices with VAT shown separately?
Yes. At checkout we collect your billing address and VAT ID and issue a proper invoice automatically.
Is Tendova affiliated with the EU?
No. Tendova is an independent, private offering with no affiliation to institutions of the European Union.
Where is my data stored?
Tendova is hosted in the EU, with the primary infrastructure running on servers in Germany. Details on data processing are in our privacy policy and, for business customers, in our data processing agreement (DPA).PrivacyDPA
