The city of Wildau intends to construct a new primary school campus at the location of the Grundschule Wildau and the KiTa Wirbelwind at Fichtestr. 90, 15745 Wildau. To this end, the courtyards will be combined to form a school site and some buildings will be partially demolished. The existing school building will be extended with a new annex and an adjoining sports hall, and the remaining structure in the northwest will be partially renovated. After the demolition of the old buildings and the new construction, the schoolyard will be extensively redesigned. The new construction of the primary school represents the main building, which extends along Käthe-Kollwitz-Straße in the south. Immediately adjacent, on the same front (east side), is the gable of the sports hall with an attached canteen and kitchen. On the western side, the new construction adjoins the existing building. The sports hall is located on the 1st floor above the canteen and kitchen; it consists of a three-court sports hall, ancillary functional areas and a gallery on the 2nd floor. The primary school and sports hall are not basement. The load-bearing components consist of reinforced concrete and KS masonry. The foundation is a reinforced concrete foundation slab with frost collars made of strip foundations.
