Description

The Bern City Tangent is one of the most heavily used sections of the national road network. Between 2008 and 2012, the City Tangent was comprehensively renovated, with surfacing replaced and numerous inventory objects renovated and strengthened. In addition, noise protection was enhanced and adapted to the requirements of the time on the affected sections. Around 15 years have passed since then, and the condition of the wearing courses has deteriorated noticeably. In recent years, there have been increasing pavement damages, leading to an increase in short-term necessary maintenance measures (kbU). Within the project perimeter, on the one hand, a UeMa surfacing replacement and a maintenance project will be carried out. The project perimeter includes the following four national road sections: · N01.16 (Bethlehem junction – Forsthaus) · N01.20 (Forsthaus – Wankdorf junction) · N06.32 (Wankdorf junction – Wankdorf junction) · N12.84 (Bümpliz junction – Weyermannshaus junction)

The current procurement includes the mandate for the project author for the interim measure (Phases 32-53) and the maintenance project (Phases Maintenance Concept (EK) to and including Planning Approval Procedure (PGV)) - The project will be created using the BIM planning method.

Description of the Project Author for Construction mandate:

· Interim measure (UeMa) surfacing replacement (planning + implementation)

· Maintenance Concept (EK) to Planning Approval Procedure (PGV)

During the planning and implementation of the UeMa surfacing replacement, a maintenance concept (EK) for the section should be created. Based on the condition assessment, which is provided by ASTRA, as well as additional condition assessments to be carried out by the contractor, a maintenance concept (EK) and subsequently a measures concept (MK) or a design project (AP) should be developed. The contractor will accompany the project up to and including the planning approval procedure (procedural support, handling of objections). In total, there are 146 inventory objects (IO) which are divided into the following areas: - Route / Environment: 42 - Artificially constructed structures: 52 - Tunnels / Geotechnics: 43 - BSA: 3 - Third-party objects: 6
