Germany – Engineering design services for the construction of civil engineering works – Hüller Bach Umbau HRB Herne-Hofstraße und Ökologische Verbesserung von km 5,50 bis km 5,80 Ing.-Leistung LP 5-6, optional LP 7-9

The subject of the contract is the provision of services for the planning of civil engineering works, structural design, technical equipment, and ecological construction supervision within the framework of the planning and implementation of the conversion of the Herne-Hofstraße flood retention basin and the associated ecological improvement of the Hüller Bach from km 5,50 to km 5,80. At the location of the existing HRB Herne-Hofstraße, the Hüller Bach will be rerouted from its current course into the basin. The rerouting of the watercourse will change the function of the HRB from a by-pass to a main closure. A new throttling structure will be constructed to optimise the control of the flood retention basin.
