* Unified and managed workstation environment: the workstation service must enable centralized management of all workstations and devices in the Finnish Border Guard's segregated network. All workstations are hardened, and they use security profiles that meet high information security requirements.

* Segregated management environment: the management environment is segregated from other operations to ensure that management rights are tightly controlled.

* Strong identity and access rights management: the workstation service is integrated with the authority's existing identity management.

* Modern and secure device management model: the distribution of workstations and the packaging of applications are carried out centrally with defined processes that ensure all software and updates meet stringent information security requirements.

* Support and scalability: the workstation service is scalable and can be expanded as needed. Applicants are expected to have experience in providing a similar service. Experience is demonstrated by providing a reference where the applicant has provided a service that meets the needs of the Finnish Border Guard.
