Service: Specialist planning for monitoring

Subject of the procurement procedure are specialist planning services for structure-specific monitoring of the road bridge BW 40/2 Allacher Bridge in Munich. Due to the construction method from 1964 with stress corrosion cracking-prone prestressing steel, insufficient proof of calculation and a downgrading of the permissible load to BK 45, the structure is classified as endangered; a replacement new build is only planned for the long term. To ensure continued operation, a qualified monitoring system is to be introduced, in particular for the early detection of prestressing steel fractures and for the continuous assessment of the condition. A specialist planner for monitoring is commissioned, who, in accordance with the DBV leaflet on bridge monitoring, will take over the conception, planning, procurement support, implementation and evaluation of the monitoring and will be involved in the procurement of a measurement service provider. The monitoring includes at least one acoustic emission system, another independent system (e.g. fibre optic) and a video surveillance system, taking into account the boundary conditions from the location above DB tracks. The service will be awarded in stages and is divided into three service stages from feasibility study to planning, installation and operation to result evaluation. The time frame for the monitoring concept is until December 2026, the completion of the award until April 2027 and the installation and commissioning until October 2027.
