MVV Industriepark Gersthofen GmbH plans to construct and operate a sewage sludge treatment plant (sewage sludge mono-incineration) based on a fluidised bed incineration (with a capacity of 8.8 MW) on the site of the Gersthofen industrial park. The sewage sludge treatment plant includes facilities for the storage and drying of dewatered sewage sludge, as well as the incineration of conditioned sewage sludge and a throughput of approximately 85,000 tonnes of mechanically dewatered sewage sludge per year.
