Switzerland – Construction work – Extension et rénovation du Lycée-collège de St-Maurice - CFC 281.6
Description
The Lycée-Collège de Saint-Maurice accommodates approximately 1,100 students supervised by around one hundred teachers. With a long educational tradition, this emblematic place plays a key role in the gymnasium education of the canton of Valais, and enjoys a confirmed reputation. The establishment is spread over two distinct sites: * the Lycée-Collège site located in the immediate vicinity of the station and the old town of Saint-Maurice; * the Sport Zone site, adjacent to the sports facilities of the commune. These two sites are about 300 meters apart, or approximately five minutes on foot. The extension and transformation project of the Lycée-Collège includes the construction, to the northwest of the site, of a new wooden pavilion comprising a basement and four levels. It also includes the renovation of the Internat, property of the Abbaye de Saint-Maurice, as well as the transformation of the existing H-shaped building.
