Germany – Groundwater pollution treatment or rehabilitation – Hydraulische Grundwassersanierung

Provision/Operation/Maintenance of a groundwater remediation plant (GWRA) for the decontamination of groundwater (GW) contaminated with LCKW, throughput min. 8 m³/h. The GW has a higher organic load and accompanying pollutants from a landfill. The existing GWRA has an aeration system, iron removal, stripping plant with closed-loop gas circulation, catalytic oxidation (CatOx) plant and HCl dosing, as well as 5 feed pumps. The plant is to be provided and operated until 2035, and then decommissioned. The existing infrastructure (wells, pipelines, power connection, infiltration wells) is in place, as a GWRA has been in operation since 2020. For competitive reasons, this GWRA is being re-tendered.
