The reason for this tender is the decision by Leiden University to renew the IAM environment. A key component of the new IAM environment will be midPoint, a software product focused on Identity Governance and Administration. Leiden University is seeking a service provider for the hosting, technical management, and application development and management for the implementation of midPoint and related components for Leiden University. Leiden University is implementing a renewed Identity & Access Management (IAM) landscape to support the management of digital identities, authentication, authorizations, and user lifecycle management. The IAM landscape forms a business-critical provision for employees, students, guests, applications, and administrators. The contracting authority chooses a sourcing model where the technical management, hosting, and technical further development of the IAM platform are outsourced to an external service provider. The university itself manages the project, determines the governance and architecture frameworks, and performs functional management.
