Germany – Construction work – Gemeinde Henstedt-Ulzburg: Neubau des Alstergymnasiums (Generalunternehmer)

On the campus of the existing Alstergymnasium in Henstedt-Ulzburg, the construction of a new school building and the partial renovation of the existing 2 three-court sports halls are planned. The construction task is divided into several construction phases: construction of a new school building on the former sports field, complete demolition of the existing building, partial renovation of the existing 2 three-court sports halls, and overall new design of the open spaces. The planning requirement is for a six-track gymnasium for approximately 1300 students and approximately 100 teachers. The new school building for the Alstergymnasium will be located on the existing sports field in the north-east of the school campus. The main access is from the south for the majority of the students and teachers. A smaller part of the students will have access from the west. The new schoolyard is oriented to the south and south-west due to the placement in the north-east of the property. The 4-storey new building consists of 5 building sections. There are 4 classroom buildings, one of which is defined as a specialist classroom building (B1-B4). A central building section (A) in the middle serves as a connecting element between the 4 classroom buildings.
