Belgium – Construction work for buildings relating to railway transport – Monceau sur Sambre – Extension et Rénovation d’un dépôt pour matériels roulants historiques

The contract involves extending the existing CHW de Monceau building, a workshop for the restoration of historic trains currently in operation, and renovating part of the existing building: 1. The extension of a storage depot for historic rolling stock includes: - An extension of approximately 4500 m² on the north side of the existing building - An extension of approximately 3000 m² on the south side of the existing building - A 'box-in-box' type volume for storing 4 royal carriages The storage area must meet specific climatic requirements to ensure the longevity of the collections (temperature and relative humidity). A air conditioning system without the use of fossil fuels is planned for this purpose. 2. The renewal of the existing building's air conditioning system, without the use of fossil fuels. 3. The energy renovation of an office area in the existing CHW de Monceau, including: - Energy improvement work on the envelope - Limited interior fittings The contract includes structural work, finishing, electrical, HVAC, IT, and access roads and surroundings.
