Germany – Electric buses – Lieferung von 36 Bussen mit batterieelektrischem Antrieb

The subject of this procurement procedure is the awarding of a contract for the supply of battery-electric buses, diesel buses (optional) and diesel coaches (optional). The contracting authority is awarding a contract for the supply of 36 battery-electric buses to the most economical bidder. The RBM has applied for and been granted subsidies for the aforementioned buses. The corresponding subsidy notifications are already available to the RBM. The subject of the contract is the design, manufacture, production and supply (including planning, transport, commissioning, training and documentation) of the 36 battery-electric buses. The vehicles are subject to the criteria of the Federal Ministry of Transport (BMV) guidelines, Guidelines for the promotion of the procurement of electric buses in local public transport of 07 September 2021, amended on 18 June 2024. The 36 battery-electric buses are to be delivered to the contracting authority by 31 December 2028 at the latest. Details of the requirements for the battery-electric buses can be found in the specification (Annex 1) and the schedule of services (Annex 2).
