The procurement concerns main and side dishes for citizens in Gentofte Municipality's nursing homes (nursing residences), including Day Centre, as well as main and side dishes for citizens at the Centre for Rehabilitation and Prevention (CRF). Gentofte Municipality wishes to offer food that is inviting, appetizing and delicious, as well as of high nutritional and food hygiene quality. The Municipality also wishes for citizens to receive food that ensures the necessary intake of energy and nutrients and meets the relevant standards and recommendations in the field at any given time. Gentofte Municipality focuses on minimizing malnutrition among citizens in the municipality's nursing residences, users of the Day Centre and patients at the CRF, and the supplier must support that their food supports the dining environment, including the presentation of the food. It is the supplier's task to offer a meal that, from a culinary and nutritional point of view, provides the opportunity to meet the individual citizen's needs and wishes, so that malnutrition is avoided. Gentofte Municipality does not wish for standard meals for healthy elderly people, as well as energy- and protein-rich meals to be delivered as frozen. However, individual components can be delivered as frozen, for example, vegetables.
