Healthcare North gGmbH (GeNo) is the most important training provider for healthcare professions and nursing in Bremen and has organisationally consolidated all its initial, further and continuing education and training in the Education Academy. In total, GeNo operates nine training schools. To ensure that the Education Academy of GeNo can meet the increasing demands in initial, further and continuing education and training in the healthcare sector in the future, the Senate of Bremen has decided on a central location solution for the Education Academy of Healthcare North. The Education Academy must be relocated in the coming years as part of the development of the New Hulsberg Quarter (NHV). The Education Academy is to be permanently located in the future in Building 7 (a listed building on the KBM hospital site) and in a supplementary new building east of the planned clinic car park in the NHV. A private investor is to take over both the client function and the complete financing of the project. For the preparation until the completion of the measure, the AG requires support.
