Switzerland – Construction work – UW Wittenwil – Baumeister GU

The Wittenwil substation (UW) was commissioned in the early 1990s. The secondary technology and auxiliary systems have reached the end of their technical service life and must be renewed. The open-air switchgear is in good condition and does not require any adjustments. There is a high degree of interconnection with the facilities of the former operator Axpo. To maintain the safe operation of the plant, various systems must be renewed. Swissgrid is therefore replacing the secondary technology and auxiliary systems and building its own substation building (UWG) to achieve the greatest possible decoupling from the Axpo systems. The present tender includes the work related to the construction of the new substation building and its immediate vicinity (approx. 5.0 m). An exception applies to the plant lines, paving and surrounding works. For the construction of the new substation building, the following work is to be carried out in general terms: * Preparation work (site set-up, temporary facilities, dismantling, demolition, etc.) * Excavation (excavation, plant lines, etc.) * Shell 1 (masonry work, scaffolding, etc.) * Shell 2 (roofing, lightning protection, roofing work, etc.) * Electrical systems (including fire detection systems, earthing, and cable trays and ducts (for all SAS, communication and own consumption connections) * Heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration systems * Sanitary facilities * Fit-out 1 (plastering, metalwork, carpentry, etc.) * Fit-out 2 (floor, wall coverings, wall and ceiling claddings, etc.) * Surroundings (landscaping, access roads, cable shafts, cable duct blocks, etc.) * Acceptance (FAT, SAT and IBN) The detailed scope of services is listed in document C100.
