Netherlands – Social work and related services – Gespecialiseerde trajectbegeleiding 16+ jongeren
Description
Specialised trajectory guidance (GTB) 16+ is deployed by the Personalised Approach (PGA) team of the Security, Administrative Services (contracting authority). The target group consists of young people aged 16 to 27 who come to the attention of the police and/or justice system, where there is evidence of multi-problematic behaviour. In addition, the young person, through their behaviour, poses a risk to public order and the safety of the city. The guidance is characterised by a high degree of commitment, involvement, and flexibility and is therefore intensive by nature. The scope and intensity of the guidance vary by situation and are tailored to the young person's support needs, the complexity of the issues, and the safety risk. The primary goal of this guidance is to mitigate the safety risk and to break the cycle of criminal and/or seriously disruptive behaviour. This is achieved by guiding and supporting the young person in creating a stable living situation.
