The municipality of Gallmersgarten aims to provide comprehensive access to Gigabit networks. Furthermore, the municipality aims to strengthen its business location and ensure the competitiveness of its companies. Therefore, concession contracts for the construction and operation of Gigabit networks, as well as the provision of end-customer services, are to be concluded with telecommunications companies in the areas specified in more detail below. The municipality of Gallmersgarten has submitted an application for funding under the federal funding programme "Funding to support the expansion of telecommunications networks with gigabit capabilities in the Federal Republic of Germany – Gigabit Guideline 2.0" and has been granted preliminary funding. In this regard, the municipality of Gallmersgarten intends to apply for co-financing under the "Guideline on co-financing of the gigabit expansion by the federal government in the Free State of Bavaria 2.0" (Bavarian Co-financing Gigabit Directive 2.0 – KofGibitR 2.0). The municipality of Gallmersgarten acts as the granting authority (hereinafter also referred to as the "granting authority") and conducts the present procedure.
