The Chamber of Electrical Engineering Recklinghausen intends to award planning services for buildings and interiors. It is intended to renovate and convert the 2-storey building used for training purposes in Recklinghausen for future needs in a demand-oriented manner. The following measures are to be implemented during ongoing operations: creation of a workshop room including storage areas according to the room programme in the report, relocation and addition of changing and sanitary facilities in the basement, installation of a lift, energy-efficient modernisation of the roof, new construction of a heat generation and distribution system, new house connections for electricity and water. The building is constructed as a reinforced concrete frame structure with wall infills built into the slope, so that more than half of the basement is below ground level. The roof is constructed as a trussed roof. Completion is currently scheduled for the 3rd quarter of 2028. The costs (cost groups 300 - 500 and 700) of the measure are currently estimated at around 2,55 million Euro / gross. The measure is subsidised with 90% federal funds. The own contribution is 10%. A qualified funding application has already been prepared, submitted and pre-checked. If necessary, an update of the costs and deadlines will be required. The funding approval could not yet be granted, as the commissioning of the building and interior planning has not been carried out for all performance phases.
