The contracting authority is considering becoming its own risk bearer for the WGA as of 1 January 2027. Whether the contracting authority will actually become a risk bearer with a private insurance for the WGA depends on whether risk bearing is a (financially) more attractive option than financing the WGA through the UWV. Robidus will carry out the analysis to determine this. The contracting authority had 519 employees on the reference date 31-12-2025. The expected WIA wage sum in 2027 amounts to €23,366,585. The actual size of the contract will be known after the final premium statement for the WGA insurance.
