Germany – Railway tunnel construction work – Erneuerung der Tunnel Brandenstein und Ebertsberg

DB InfraGO AG, RB Mitte, intends to renew the three tunnels Ebertsberg, Brandenstein, Ruppertsberg and the Vst Jossa as part of the container measure "Strecke 3825". This tender concerns the planned widening of the three tunnels in full renewal as well as the reconstruction of the Vst Jossa. The tunnels Ebertsberg (l = 230 m), Brandenstein (l = 151 m), and Ruppertsberg (l = 321 m) will be widened from approximately 50 m² to approximately 80 m² in cross-section. At Vst Jossa, the central platform will be dismantled. The house platform will be adapted to be RIL-compliant and two new outer platforms will be built. Furthermore, the Vst will be equipped with a pedestrian underpass (PU). The renewal will take place within an 18-month full closure of the line.
