Description

The objective is to use a dynamic procurement system to acquire the necessary software and other ready-made software licenses and related support and maintenance services (hereinafter "software products") for the HUS server, cloud and desktop environments by making the necessary agreements with resellers and, if necessary, with the main suppliers of the software products. This may involve licenses for traditional software products as well as usage rights for services delivered over the network. The software products may already be in use at HUS, in which case the procurement need may arise from, for example, changes in license terms, usage volume, platform or the like, expansions required by the social and health care reform, or maintenance required by the current version. In such cases, the internal tendering of the dynamic procurement system may be directed at a specific software product. A choice can be made between different software products if this is possible. The procurement also includes reseller services, such as planning for the customer-specific use of software, consulting, modification, implementation, training, support and maintenance. The procurement target is defined in more detail in the internal tenders of the dynamic procurement system. The internal tender may only target part of the above-mentioned services, for example, only the resale of software products or only the reseller's services. All resellers of software that meet the suitability requirements are included in the dynamic procurement system. Software manufacturers are also accepted if they sell their own software and meet the suitability requirements.
