The RVK is a transport company whose core transport area covers the district of Euskirchen, the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis and the left-bank Rhein-Sieg-Kreis. Services are provided on its own lines as well as on behalf of other transport companies. As part of the construction project, the RVK intends to build a depot for hydrogen fuel cell and battery-electric buses. The approximately 13,500 m² construction site is located in Bensberg, a district of the city of Bergisch-Gladbach. The area is located east of the L195 Friedrich-Ebert-Straße and west of the Straße Steinhaus. The contracting authority, Regionalverkehr Köln GmbH, intends to shortly publish the tender package "Heating, Ventilation, Sanitary" for this construction project. The site will include a support structure with a hydrogen production plant, an office and administration building with a car park and inspection hall, 3 bus canopies, a portal washing system for buses and the associated traffic areas. The buildings of the depot cover approximately 5,300 m² of land, have a gross floor area of approximately 11,500 m² and a gross volume of approximately 39,950 m³. The tender package includes the technical completion regarding the trades of heating, ventilation and sanitary for all buildings and the infrastructure. The heat supply of the property is mainly provided by the waste heat of the electrolyser, which can be decoupled via a heat exchanger and made available. In addition to the heating of the enclosed buildings, the frost protection of the access ramps for buses and cars is also planned. The sanitary works focus mainly on the inspection hall, the office and administration building, the portal washing system and the supply of the electrolyzers for hydrogen production. A small sanitary wing is planned in the office and administration building. The construction of the portal washing system is not part of the tender package. The ventilation of the rooms with charging and switching systems is passive by means of inlet and outlet openings, which are supported by fans depending on the temperature. In the outdoor area on the roof above the administrative rooms, a central ventilation and air conditioning unit in a weather-resistant design with HRG, pre-conditioning of the supply air by heating and cooling registers according to the season will be set up, via which all rooms of the administrative level are supplied and exhausted.
