The purpose and objective of the procurement is to cover backup duties in the Poison Information Centre's telephone advisory service during agreed scheduled periods. The main task of the consultant is to, if necessary, discuss and support the primary duty, or alternatively, to take over the call. The schedule is determined for three (3) months at a time and the consultant must always be on standby during the scheduled hours. The work is allocated for all hours of the day. The inquiries are of an advanced clinical nature and must be answered immediately. During office hours, the backup is available at the Poison Information Centre's premises and at other times via telephone. In case of a need for enhanced organisation, the consultant has a one-hour response time to the Poison Information Centre's premises unless otherwise agreed.
