Germany – Engineering design services for the construction of civil engineering works – Kreis Bergstraße - Schul- und Bildungszentrum Ost, Viernheim

The District of Bergstraße intends to develop a new school and educational site at the Walter-Gropius-Allee location in Viernheim. The project includes the replacement new construction of the Alexander-von-Humboldt-Schule, the new construction of a four-track primary school, and the establishment of a sports facility. With the new education campus, a future-proof and sustainable school site is to be created that meets the long-term educational requirements and provides a contemporary learning and working environment for students and teachers. In addition to the educational uses, the requirements for communal use of the site are also to be taken into account. The realisation of the buildings is planned in timber or hybrid construction.
