The City of Hanau plans to expand the 2-track primary school in the Großauheim district as part of the school development plan. The project involves expanding and functionally reorganizing the school through a replacement new building for administration and expanding the all-day area. The entire school site covers 10,387 m² and currently houses three freestanding buildings: the school building, the gymnasium, and the administration building. As part of the expansion measure, the construction of a separate new building according to the specified space program is planned. The administration building is not to be retained. Planning for the construction measure is scheduled to begin in summer 2026. Construction is set to start in summer 2027, with completion scheduled for mid-2029.
