Germany – Architectural and related services – Umbau und Erweiterung der Grund- und Mittelschule Bad Kötzting - Planungsleistungen nach § 34 Gebäude und Innenräume HOAI 2021

The city of Bad Kötzting plans the renovation and expansion of the primary and secondary school to sustainably improve the spatial conditions for full-day care. In advance, the building authority of the city prepared a preliminary project examination which has already been coordinated with the school management. This should be checked and can be questioned, but should be binding in principle. The possible measures are outlined as follows: renovation of the north wing of the primary school with the establishment of a common canteen for primary and secondary school including kitchen and storage as well as additional rooms for full-day care. The canteen will be extended in the direction of the common playground by approximately 130 m². The secondary school will be made accessible without barriers by the installation of a central elevator system and will be extended by an additional floor for use in lightweight timber construction for reasons of weight. According to the study, eight additional classrooms and an ancillary room with a total of approximately 570 m² of usable space are planned there. The planning also takes into account the safeguarding of the natural lighting of the auditorium, the use of the new roof surfaces for photovoltaics, and the further development of the fire protection concept.
