Through the procurement of a design and build contract, Malmö City intends to construct a new art museum that will connect the existing building with up to 6 500 square meters of new construction to create a cohesive and distinctive whole. The visitor experience should be a carefully choreographed and aesthetically appealing journey. The architecture should interact with the park, the canal, and the surrounding city, and offer visual connections between the interior and exterior.
