Denmark – Cleaning and treatment of soil – Dynamisk indkøbssystem vedr. jorddeponi

Sund & Bælt Holding A/SDenmarkPublished on May 11, 2026
No deadline given

Description

In connection with Sund & Bælt's current and future construction projects, including, among others, the expansion of the Øresund Motorway and the establishment of an overtaking lane at Kalvebod, Sund & Bælt (and other companies in the group) require assistance in handling the task related to the management of surplus soil from excavation works. The task will typically involve the reception, handling, and final disposal of excavated soil, including treatment, cleaning, and/or deposition, in accordance with applicable environmental legislation, authority requirements, and approvals. Transport of soil to and from the construction site or receiving facility is not, as a starting point, part of the task. Depending on the specific project, the task may include one or more of the following sub-tasks:

- reception of soil at an approved facility or receiving site,

- sampling

- analysis and classification of soil (e.g. clean, lightly contaminated or contaminated soil),

- temporary storage of soil in accordance with applicable rules,

- treatment and/or cleaning of soil with a view to reuse or correct disposal,

- deposition or beneficial use of soil at an approved facility,

- documentation and reporting, and

- expert advice regarding the choice of handling, treatment method, and compliance with authority requirements.

For certain projects, the task may include all of the above services, while for other projects, there may only be a need for individual sub-tasks, e.g. solely reception and deposition. The task must be able to be delivered flexibly and scalably, so that it can be adapted to projects of different sizes, durations, and complexity as well as varying quantities and types of soil. The soil will typically be excavated from existing road areas and embankments, expansion and reconstruction of road structures, and adjacent areas in connection with construction works. The soil can be dry, wet, or shovelable/non-shovelable. The current dynamic purchasing system is equivalent to the previous dynamic purchasing system established by Sund & Bælt with OJEU Reference 146323-2026, and the same criteria for inclusion in the System apply. The current purchasing system replaces the dynamic purchasing system with OJEU Reference 146323-2026.
