The STC currently uses an external accountant for the statutory audit of the annual accounts, interim audit and additional assurance services. The current accountant meets professional standards, has relevant experience in the education sector and contributes to a stable and reliable control cycle. The current agreement is expiring, necessitating a new tender to ensure the continuity of the control function. The services include, among others, the audit of the annual accounts, the assessment of internal control processes, the execution of specific assignments (such as subsidy statements) and the provision of advice within the framework of independence. STC is organising a viewing moment for potential registrants on 1 October for documents that, due to their confidential nature, are not made public via TenderNed. In recent years, the average annual expenditure for the requested services (parts A to F), including additional project statements (part G), has been approximately €230,000, excluding VAT. Historically, STC has an average of five to six project statements executed per year. No rights or take-or-pay guarantees can be derived from this information.
