Germany – Systems consultancy services – SAP Basis Betrieb als Managed Service (2nd Level)

To ensure a stable, high-performing, and future-oriented IT operation, BEW intends to outsource certain operational tasks in the IT sector – specifically, the SAP Basis operation of the SAP system landscapes and the Second Level Support – to qualified external service providers. The SAP system landscapes are currently in an active build-up and migration process. A fully independent SAP Basis operation is only partially available at this time. The aim of the tender is therefore to create a sustainable foundation for the ongoing operation and further development of the SAP system landscapes with a specialized service provider. This includes, in particular: • ensuring the operation of a highly available, scalable, and security-compliant SAP system landscape • the early detection and resolution of malfunctions • the proactive prevention of bottlenecks, • the transparent analysis and sustainable elimination of error causes. The service provider will operate the SAP system landscapes, which are built within the BEW Tenant in the Azure Tenant of the BEW as part of the Carveout/Carvein project. Existing systems and tools such as SAP ERP 6.0 (EhP 8) on the basis of HANA DB on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 9), SAP Cloud ALM and Avantra are to be used, maintained, and further developed as required. The focus is on the secure SAP Basis operation of a high-performing SAP system landscape based on the customer's own systems in accordance with the needs of the BEW.
