The city of Marl plans to construct a new three-track primary school as a two-storey star-shaped school building, along with a single-storey sports building, on Hervester Straße. Both buildings are planned as timber structures on reinforced concrete foundation slabs, with the sports building having a partial basement. The school building is equipped with a cluster structure featuring classrooms, group rooms, specialist rooms, an administrative area, and a canteen/auditorium. The sports building houses a double gymnasium, a teaching swimming pool, and ancillary rooms with changing and sanitary facilities.
