The subject of the tender is the complete administration of the occupational pension scheme (bAV) of BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH. The scope of services includes the management of applicants, beneficiaries who have left with non-forfeitable rights, and pension recipients, including inventory management, preliminary pension accounting, pension administration, pension equalisation, reporting and certification, correspondence, pension adjustments, archiving, and the provision of data for financial statement and audit processes. The portfolios to be managed currently comprise several thousand applicants and pensioners in more than 20 pension schemes. The contract also includes the takeover of existing administrative processes, including a preliminary transition and migration phase to ensure knowledge transfer and data migration. During the contract period, additional administration and calculation services from currently separately managed pension schemes can optionally be transferred to the contractor. The contract duration is four years with the option of two extensions of two years each (maximum eight years). Service commencement is planned for the first half of 2027.
