The building Kindergarten Dorf was constructed in 1913 as a primary school with a teacher's apartment on the upper floor. In 1963, the classroom was converted into a kindergarten. The school Volketswil intends to make better use of the building in the future - for this purpose, new premises for the school psychological service are to be planned in the upper floors. With the extended use and the implementation of barrier-free access, a complete renovation of the building is planned. The building has been included in the inventory of supra-municipal significance. A general planner mandate is to be awarded for the implementation. Within the framework of pre-qualification, initially only the lead architectural firm is being sought.
