Description

Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) were developed at the end of the last century and have been widely used since 1995. In the university environment, it can be stated that they have been globally used (by all university members) since the late 1990s. Since then, it is inconceivable and impossible to normally develop the activities of any university member (whether PDI, student or PTGAS) without using email or accessing information through the web, or teaching without the utilities of the virtual campus, etc. And day by day, new applications are being incorporated that improve and facilitate the daily work of university members (videoconferencing, collaborative work tools, etc.). A direct consequence of this change in the working conditions of university members is that one (if not the first) of the basic tools of any university member's job is their personal computer and mobile devices; machines through which these work tools can be used without which daily activities cannot be developed. The University of Zaragoza therefore needs to acquire personal computers and mobile devices for use in all its areas of action: teaching, research and university management. Within each of these areas (especially in teaching and research) the needs are not uniform since the work environments are very different (philosophy, law, computer science, etc.). On the other hand, it is very difficult (if not impossible) to plan the needs of each group with sufficient advance notice since the sources of funding are diverse and not predictable in advance. The framework agreement is the ideal way to meet the needs of the university since it allows purchases to be standardized, allowing each unit to make them when necessary. The procedure is subdivided into 2 lots: 1. Lot 1 dedicated to the acquisition of personal computers with macOS operating system, their peripherals and accessories. 2. Lot 2 includes tablets (tablets in English terminology) with IOS operating system, increasingly used due to their portability.
