Due to the age of the plant of approximately 69 years, the overhead line of line 4000 from km 209,104 in Freiburg Hbf to km 223,459 in Bad Krozingen is due for renewal. The renewal of the overhead line system requires modifications to the track-side noise barriers and retaining walls. The project is divided into four construction sections: - Section 1: Freiburg Hbf - Abzw. Leutersberg; km 209,104 to km 214,321; - Section 2: Abzw. Leutersberg; km 214,321 to km 215,496; - Section 3: Abzw. Leutersberg - Bf Bad Krozingen; km 215,496 to km 221,616; - Section 4.1: Bf Bad Krozingen; km 221,616 to km 223,459; In the current statement of requirements, construction services for the laying of TK cable with partial adaptation of the cable route are to be tendered.
