Description

For its research activities, the CEA-LETI wishes to acquire a closed-cycle helium (1K) cryostat dedicated to the characterisation of integrated photonic circuits, in order to conduct experiments and measurements at very low temperatures. This request is part of the OQULUS (PEPR Quantum Technologies) project, funded as part of the national quantum strategy (France 2030), aimed at the development of optical quantum computers. The objective of the CEA is to equip itself with a robust and versatile cryogenic system dedicated to the development of next-generation quantum devices. The requested equipment will be used for the characterisation of components and circuits in the field of integrated photonics (PICs) including single-photon detectors with superconducting nanowire (SNSPD). These detectors require a cryogenic environment to reach the superconducting regime and to ensure optimal performance in terms of detection efficiency and measurement noise, conditioning the operating temperature of the cryostat sought (<1K). The present contract includes the following optional options: - Option 1 – Vibration isolation of the frame - Option 2 – Acceleration of cooling / heating - Option 3 – Vibration reduction - Option 4 – Upgrade dilution unit - Option 5 – Soundproofing - Option 6 – Extension of warranty by one or more additional years - Option 7 – x2 18GHz UT85 semi-rigid RF lines - Option 8 – x2 40GHz UT85 semi-rigid RF lines - Option 9 – Cryogenic LNA - Option 10 – Cryogenic bias tee - Option 11 – Cryogenic low-pass filter - Option 12 – Breakout box and Fischer cable - The price of transport, insurance included, according to the conditions DAP CEA Grenoble (Incoterms ICC 2020 Convention)
