The Stadtwerke München GmbH intends to renew seven points and one crossing on the U-Bahn line between the stations Theresienwiese and Schwanthalerhöhe in 2027. The works will be carried out completely in an inner-city tunnel. In addition to the use of diesel-powered construction machinery, considerable dust emissions will occur during the removal and installation of the ballast superstructure. For a safe construction site operation and compliance with the requirements of occupational, health and environmental safety, a temporary ventilation and dust extraction system with an extraction capacity of 4,000 m³/min is therefore required. The subject of the tender is the execution planning, delivery, assembly, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the system during the construction period, including necessary modifications between the construction phases, as well as the dismantling of a temporary ventilation and dust extraction system including the associated power supply and measurement, control and guidance technology. The basis for the service is a ventilation and dust extraction concept prescribed by the client, which is to be implemented by the contractor. The scope of services includes, in particular, airtight seals using weather walls and weather gates, axial fans and dust extraction systems, an above-ground suction fan in soundproof housing, temporary power supply including switchgear and frequency converters, stationary and personal gas warning systems, a central control and guidance system as well as dust measurements. In addition, all necessary certifications, tests and documentation must be carried out. The construction measure will be carried out in two directly consecutive construction phases; the necessary conversion of individual system components and seals including the associated planning, assembly and commissioning services is part of the service. The tendered service is aimed at companies with proven experience in the planning, construction and operation of temporary ventilation and dust extraction systems for track construction sites.
